Making his Turin debut, rising star Tarmo Peltokoski leads Die Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen on Wednesday, January 27th, opening with a world-premiere work composed by Italian cellist Giovanni Sollima, commissioned by Lingotto Musica and Die Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen to commemorate the bicentennial of Beethoven’s death. The program continues with Schumann’s Violin Concerto, performed by Norwegian violinist Vilde Frang on her first appearance at Lingotto, and closes with Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 5, “Reformation.”
