Ten years after his Lingotto Musica debut, Daniil Trifonov returns on Wednesday, January 13, for a solo recital spanning three centuries and two continents. A winner of the Rubinstein and Tchaikovsky competitions and a Grammy Award-winning Deutsche Grammophon artist, Trifonov is celebrated for his extraordinary versatility. The program opens with Handel’s Baroque elegance and Stravinsky’s 20th-century modernism, followed by the Romantic intensity of Schubert’s Wanderer Fantasy. The second half explores Latin American landscapes through works by Dominican, Brazilian, and Argentine composers, alongside a Tango composed by Trifonov himself.
