Ten years after his Lingotto Musica debut, Daniil Trifonov returns to the Auditorium Giovanni Agnelli on Wednesday, January 13th, for a solo recital spanning three centuries and two continents. Deutsche Grammophon artist since 2013, winner of the Rubinstein and Tchaikovsky competitions (2011) and Grammy Award (2018), Trifonov is celebrated for his extraordinary versatility. The program opens with Handel’s Baroque elegance and Stravinsky’s 20th-century modernism, followed by the Romantic intensity of Schubert’s Wanderer Fantasy. The second half explores Latin American landscapes through works by Dominican, Brazilian and Argentine composers, alongside Tango by Trifonov himself.
