Founded in 1982 by Marc Minkowski, The Musiciens du Louvre ensemble is internationally acclaimed for its historically informed performances of Baroque repertoire on period instruments. However, with increasing frequency, under the baton of its founder, they venture into the instrumental world of the 18th century: a confirmation of this comes from the closing concert of the Concerti del Lingotto series, which sees them performing the last three symphonies of Mozart in strict chronological order. A miraculous triptych composed in the span of a single summer in 1788 that crowns Mozart’s experience as a symphonist.
